I have the names of the five men who were identified.
With the help of another USS Edsall family member, three more bodies
had been recovered. Apparently, the bodies are all buried in Missouri.

Wow, what a quick response! I do have websites also that might be of
    interest as well:

USS Edsall & Captain JJ Nix Nimitz Museum (awesome place in Fredericksburg, Tx) Tin Can Sailors Online Club for Asiatic Fleet Frank Barger's story USS Houston's page USS Augusta page President Bush's Proclamation for the Asiatic Fleet Asiatic Fleet Remembrance Day USS Hancock (Yeoman Jake was kind enough to add Asiatic Fleet's information to his website) South China Yangtze Patrol Asiatic Fleet During my research, I came to befriend a number of veteran's, one of which served on the Edsall with my grandfather up until 3 weeks before she was sunk. Fate would have it, that I would rent a weekend cabin in the mountains just 7 years ago across the street from this man - not knowing the significance now. However, in 2001, our paths finally crossed and he provided me with a picture of the crew of the Edsall - that you see posted on jjedsall's website. I also was able to contact the owner of the jjedsall website who happens to be the grandson of JJ Edsall. Thank you for putting your website together. I can tell a lot of interest, research, and work has been put into it. I have forwarded your website onto my Asiatic Fleet friends to view as well. I have also attached the names of the five men identified, from a copy of a letter forwarded to me by the Dept of the Navy. And one more thing, many people do not know about, there is a memorial in the Philippines, originally named Fort McKinley. The name has been changed to Fort Bonifacio:
